Let's talk about swords!

Here, this Samantha lady does commit some sins: She telegraphs (probably forgivable for choreography's sake --- especially if her partner sucks), and she covers with her edge a bunch.

But she also appears to know what she's doing. Her hengen seems to be covering well, she knows how to play off the bind, and she actually does that disarm.

I've been thinking of setting up a backyard forge, lots of videos on it on youtube.

I'm surprised they're trying to regulate that. Can't have people running around hurting themselves with low quality homemade swords. Or worse yet, hurting others. :?
